With the ongoing bombing and use of destructive weapons against the Gaza Strip, thousands of people have been killed, injured, and hundreds of thousands have been forced to flee their homes—the majority of whom are women and children. Over two million people were left without access to basic necessities such as food, fuel, medicine, and water due to the ongoing siege on the Gaza Strip. Targeting hospitals, gathering spots for displaced people, and schools has become more concentrated and violate all humanitarian principles and international conventions. Given the disastrous humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the Council of European Muslims:

– Condemns these massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians, which may amount to a war crime.

– Calls for concerted efforts to impose an immediate end to the war and to allow the entry of aid and medicine supplies.

– Calls on the European Union and the European states to adopt humanitarian and just positions towards this tragedy, work to end it, and stand alongside the anti-war voices.

– Salutes European civil society institutions and all initiatives and movements that call for and end this tragedy, breaking the siege, and providing relief to the people of Gaza in their ordeal.

– Calls on its member institutions, all Islamic institutions and associations, and all friends and partners to support the initiatives that call for an end to this aggression, as well as the initiatives to provide humanitarian and relief aid to the people of Gaza.
