With every passing day or even hour, the tragedy and humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip increase. Hundreds of casualties are reported daily, mostly children and women. The collapse of the health system and the lack of basic living conditions deepened the situation. We are witnessing a horrific massacre beyond description.
To stop this ongoing tragedy, the Council for European Muslims:
Calls on the international community and European Union governments to take immediate action and impose an urgent humanitarian ceasefire.
Calls for the opening of the Rafah crossing before the entry of humanitarian and medical aid convoys to relieve the people of the Gaza Strip.
